Responsible for supervising and leading the on-time and accurate execution of Fulfillment orders.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Directs the operations of the department personnel to achieve prescribed objectives.
• Makes specific job assignments in accordance with scheduling requirements.
• Develop and implement work schedules and assignments to ensure effective and efficient operation.
• Checks on all incoming jobs to be processed to determine that all information and material is available for processing.
• Directly supervises all inbound and outbound fulfillment jobs to ensure instructions are carried out promptly.
• Supervises the prompt and accurate filing, packing, and shipping of orders.
• Supervises maintenance of shipping records
• Supervise team members; provide constructive feedback/coaching where needed; be alert for training opportunities; talk to and listen to employee’s needs, concerns, and suggestions.
• Assure all equipment is operating and configured properly and assure an adequate flow of tools, supplies, and other needs to the workstations.
• Continually seek out and drive the delivery of productivity and performance improvements.
• Communicate across shifts; create work plans, establish target goals for the day, and monitor progress against them.
• Attends all company meetings where discussions related to distribution and shipping.
• Assures that all work areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly.
• Defines responsibility of subordinates; communicates established standards of performance, programs, practices, and procedures; appraises performance against assigned responsibilities.
• Assists in interviewing applicants and makes recommendations for employment; recommends wage adjustment; changes in status and termination of personnel.
• Plans and supervises the training of employees in their proper performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Supervises Fulfillment department.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum four plus years’ experience of supervising a fulfillment/pick and pack operation.
• Previous experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience with warehouse and fulfillment operations.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Good judgment and decision-making ability are necessary.
• Strong communication skills including the ability to work with department employees, CSRs (Corporate Social Responsibility), and management when necessary.
• Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions.
• Demonstrated skills in leadership.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish colors.
• Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
• Manual dexterity for repetitive work.
• Frequent walking and standing.
The national pay range for this role is listed above. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
